Oh no! ...the Moon by 55-300!

I know a half Moon would have been better, I had to do it anyway.

100% crop from original
Focal Length 300 mm
Exposure Time 1/125 sec
Aperture f/11
ISO Equivalent 100
Exposure Program Manual

The image you see is 1100 x 733, that is what is left from the original 3872 x 2592

I did this one a little over a month ago with the same lens, hand held.

the moon must have set lower in your part of the world as shown by your capture

An other shoot taken during last full moon with Sigma 135-400 +TC Tamron 1.4 x :


Other one a few month ago, same lens, but a composit of about 30 shoots .
Restitution with IRIS V.5.51 :


Robert Capa says : " If your pictures are not good, you are not close enough ..."
... With a good software as IRIS , distance ( 384 400 km Earth/Moon ) is not a real problem , everything become close enough !
