Sports with k20d 55-300mm

Hi,just a few pics to show why Pentax is no good for sports.I shot a rugby league game on the weekend,was pretty happy with the results.Havent had the k20d for long so pics mite not be great still feelin my way with the camera.Just wanted to post a few pics for ppl considering the camera or the lens.

really good pics! were you using aps-c in machine gun mode? or were you being a bit more selective? regardless, good exposure and color of a brutal looking sport

Hi thnx for comment.I mainly use AFS Tv mode 1/1000 Iso 400 left it on the same settings for the whole game.I was very happy to have 80% keepers. Had to be selective with the crops to get rid of the linesman and trainers on the sideline.

I think you've done a brilliant job capturing moments from the game. Tv was a great choice, you really got sharp results. I am SO trying to hold out for the 60-250mm, but this lens looks really good!

Absolutely gob smacked(compared to mine 55-300 on K10D)
I'm sending mine in for focus and yours are tack sharp

nice action photos, but is it just me or is the Noise Reduction way overdone? kinda plastic

Wow - with that kind of action, I'm not sure I would want to give business to Vault Mortgage... they might send #17 to collect!

Fantastic shots! Not just for the fact that they were nice and sharp, but also the timing.
