fa 28-105

Just how good or bad is the FA 28-105. I have other better quality lens. 16-45 and 55-300, but love the range offered by it. Using with K10 .. Am I fooling myself on my opinion of it and should I start to save my money for a quality lens in that range

Needed to edit: it is the FA 28-105mm 1:4-5.6

I had the FA 28-105 f/3.2 version of this lens which I recently sold. It's a great walk around lens, it's sharp, light and fast in daylight and as you said, the range is perfect for everyday use.

See this thread for a discussion of all the 28-105 zooms.

I saw many of the images you took with this lens via your blog and I must say that based on those alone I would be favorably inclined to buy this lens.
