Lenses for Pentax with focus limiter

Hey,

since the Pentax Lens Search don't include the option to look for a focus range limiter, it will be interesting to have the lenses with AF limiter in a list.
I can start with following lenses:

It would be nice to collect information for the AF limiter of each lens (steps, range of each steps, possibilities of customisation).
Also pictures showing the AF limiter controls.

Focus limiter prevents the lens hunting throughout the whole focus range when trying to lock auto focus or have the camera ignore subjects outside of the selected range.
This results in a faster focus speed and less af hunting.

Sigma 50/2.8 EX DG Macro

Remind me again, what the point of this exercise is. Will there be a prize?

Thanks!

It can be a help for sport/wildlife shooters using pentax to compensate the "not as fast as competition" AF-speed.
Also to add the information to the lens datasheets and maybe include it as filer option in the "Pentax Lens Search".

This is only sort of, vaguely, partially, somewhat relevant, but using a suitable lens with the F 1.7X AF Adapter results (at least usually) in a lens combination that is "focus-limited". That is to say that, since the 1.7X AF Adapter (which is actually determining the autofocusing of the lens combo) has a limited focus range, and needs to have its focus "pre-set" by the user, the lens combo will, in effect, have a (user-adjustable) "focus range limit" -- in fact, that is sometimes one of the advantages of using the 1.7X AF Adapter. But I digress...

Since I don't actually own any lenses with a focus range limiter, this has to be just my 2 f-stops worth for this thread...

Our DB does keep track of the presence of a limiter (it's under the "other features" heading in the table), it does look like all these lenses correctly show the presence of the setting. Might add a checkbox for it later on

A checkbox would be a nice feature

The 3rd party lenses don't have as much&detailed informations like the pentax lenses.

Only interesting for long telephoto lenses and macros with AF.
The D-FA 100 macro is acking a limiter. All other lenses are fine in my opinion including DA200/300 (both without limiter)

Too lazy to check the reviews on my phone According to my failing (and fallible) memory, one of the few differences between the Pentax-F 50mm macro I own, and its Pentax-FA counterpart, is the presence of the focus-limiter. The older one doesn't have it.

Cheers
