Feels Sooooo Good !

I just sold about 12 lenses in a bundle deal to another PF member. Some were Cult lenses , some were off brands , some were rare , and some common.
What I like is the LBA is OVER ! The herd is dissipating.....lol.
My lens selection is still not at all lacking at about 20 , but I feel that I can get to know some of these beauties now instead of just feeling confusion.
Simplifying is good right now......Pleased
In the last two years I have gone from about 65 down to just the SMC-K , Taks , and SMC-A series , plus a few Rikenon primes.
I did catch myself looking at a popular website tonight at a SMC 1.2 and a Super-Multi-Coated takumar 24mm.......sighhhh.

For the sake of conversation: I just bought a lens that I had a copy of and sold off a couple years ago. So. I'm going the other way. *waves*

I'll go the less-sarcastic route than some of the above, and say great and congratulations! Removing clutter from your life is generally a good thing

careful

you know what they say about a "reformed _____________________ "

they can become "purer than pure " and lose friends because they urge others to follow suit.

I am sure you won't do anything like that

[ but if you have any really good deals left, someone I know is is just a pm away, hint, hint ]

two thoughts

1) I like the idea of sliming down and not forgetting what lenses you have. It's often refreshing to pick a single lens and shoot with it - especially one that is "forgotten".

2) When you come to your senses, call this number - they can help: 877-579-2732 (B&H )

Exactly Right ! And to help support that statement will YOU buy my unused DA 18-135 WR lens for $200 ? Then I will have even less pressure and more of a good thing...lol

Hmm...I may have a few too many 50-ish lenses: Tim's Home Page · Camera Lenses

Maybe I should figure out a good way to part with some of them...that doesn't involve much packaging or shipping.

I cannot part with any of my gear, yet. I guess that makes me a masochist.

My heart sank a bit when I read "internal spot of fungus" on the A50/1.2.

I had more 50's than I do now. I sold several, including a nice, clean Helios 44-M-2. I had completely reconditioned that Helios, and still miss the wonderfully-damped focus action I managed to obtain with a custom blend of helicoid grease. I wasn't using it, and favoured others in that focal range (Taks, M1.4, K1.2, etc). Sigh.

Which just reminds me that I need to get around to sending that to DCShooter to get cleaned up.

Another problem with too much gear: forgetting to get it spruced up.

I had seller's remorse one time and that was one time too many. I am also a member of the Never Going to Sell Anything club.

All you need is 3 or 4(limited) lenses and a 1.4X extension...
