Shows the design of the 35mm f/2.8
Well that's already good corroboration, the tamron 35mm is known to be a 6 element design. I have pm'ed the author of a thread about the tamron 35mm on mflenses.

Did you get a scan of the whole catalogue?

I don't know anything about the Tamron unfortunately. I've found a little info on Zeiss designs however and this Chinon looks very similar to the Distagon design: http://www.abload.de/img/dist_flek_comp4ki6.png . Would be interesting to hear about the Tamrons though.

Unfortunately I didn't although in hindsight I should've done. The picture in the original eBay listing was open at another page, off the top of my head it was the 24mm f/2.8 and it had lots of elements, definitely upwards of 6 and maybe about 9. The 28mm is listed just above the 35mm on the scan of the page I've got and the design looks almost identical to the 35mm, 6 elements with the same corrective elements in the middle but different powers of the front negative and rear positive lenses however. It is a bit tricky to tell. I could try to get in touch again although they likely would have sold it by now, it was part of a Spotmatic bundle I believe.

Luis Alegria responded to my PM through mflenses with the info that the chinon is not the same optical schema as the classic tamron 35mm. The latter has 6 elements in 5 groups. He agrees that the chinon 35mm optics manufacturer attribution is wide open.

If you are looking for Chinon K mount lenses, you can also search for "Agfa Color" lenses.
Agfa Selectronic - Camera-wiki.org - The free camera encyclopedia

They are often offered on German/European eBay.
What I saw the last 3 months were
2.8/28
2.8/35
1.4/50
2.8/135
3.5/200
It is said they are all Chinon lenses, ment to be used with the K mount Agfa Selectronic SLR series.
These series were also completly Chinon inside, just got another outside design.

EDIT:
I just saw that the K mount Revueflex AC2 (Foto-Quelle) is based on the same Chinon SLR as the Agfa Selectronic 3, just with again another outside design.
http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Revueflex_AC_2
So any lenses sold with/for this camera (probably branded Revuecolor or Revuenon) may also be Chinon made. But in this case I would look for design similiarities, as Foto-Quelle ordered lenses from West Germany, East Germany, Japan, and Soviet Union.
