Sigma lens - Stiff focus ring

I have a Sigma 85mm f1.4 DG HSM that I have only used in AF mode. Today I tried manual focus and the ring is very stiff, as though the focus motor hasn't disengaged somehow. I also have a 70-200mm OS f2.8 and 24-70mm f2.8 and they are much easier to focus manually.

Just wondering if anyone has the 85mm and how is their focus ring?

Also switch the AF switch to Manual on your camera and see if that works...good luck!

Switched lens to manual focus and camera body ... still the same.

The only other thing I can think of about Sigma lenses is that they can operate in the opposite direction to Pentax lenses....also try to rotate the ring in both directions with the lens off the camera in manual focus....if it doesn't move that could mean a mechanical issue.
