Well, on my K-50 or K-30 this lens is a piece of junk. I tried using it just as a zoom lens on both of my cameras and everything I shot, was OOF. That's why I asked about the switch if it could be set to MF as then I'd be able to use CIF. I appreciate the input but I am not a beginner photographer, eh.

For future reference, search works much better when the subject of the threads reflects the subject of the content...If the subject here was "FA 100-300 switch" or similar, then future searchers would be able to find the answer much more easily.
Thanks for the input. I should have used the word Switch, you're right about that and since I did get my answer, that's now kind of a moot point. LOL
