Sad to see in six years nothing new has come up. Why don’t Samyang and Rokinon make auto focus lenses?

Right, that's what I meant. Why not in K mount I wonder?

A simple case of development/manufacturing costs versus anticipated demand/return I would guess.

At least Pentax did bring the D FA 21mm Limited as well as the D FA 15-30mm in the last six years. Thats more than nothing.

Very true. I would love the 15-30mm, but it's a little out of my budget at the moment.

One copy was sold for $600 in October 2022.

I still have from my 35mm film shooting days, my Pentax F 17-28mm f/3.5-4.5 fishes zoom lens. A real fun lens. Otherwise, I am happy with my Tokina 20-35mm f/3.5-4.5 77mm filter size (actually tested out at 19mm).

But I do agree, Pentax needs a FF ultra-wide zoom lens that is lighter and less expensive than the DFA 15-30mm. Say an updated 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5 DC WR would do well. However, the same is now true of their APS-C lineup- something smaller and less expensive than the DA* 11-18mm f/2.8 would be nice, and with WR. A rebadge of the fine Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 with WR would be great!

I do use the cheaper DA 12-24mm between 18 and 24mm on FF without vignetting.

I'm keeping my eyes open for it everywhere. I'd snap it up in an instant at that price fore a good copy.
