Nice pics here! This thread starts to resemble a Sigma 10-20 club
Needles to say I love this lens too! It is sharper that some on my primes!

You guys are killing me here. I've wanted the Sigma 10-17 for a long time. I really *need* something WIDE, other than my 10-17 FE (which I also love). Ah if I was rich....I may have to take a serious look at my lens line up and see if I can sell something to help finance. I've also looked at the Pentax 12-24, but that is $150.00 more than the Sigma and I'm not sure what I would gain for that added cost.

Have you bought from them before? A quick google search brings up plenty of nasties about the place.

Bought once, no problems. resellerratings.com has them rated as 9

Heya, just got my Sigma here but ran into nasty blur / decentering problem, or at least I think so. What would you say about this (HUGE image, 10MP res):
http://www.students.tut.fi/~koski7/pix/pentax/brickwall_f4.jpg

Shot at 10mm & F/4 with AF enabled and tripod with 2sec selftimer. The camera is very much perpendicular to the wall. This is direct JPEG conversion from RAW file. Same blurring can be seen with smaller apertures as well but gets diminishing near F/22 or so. The left side looks to be heavily blurred and more distorted than the right side. Did I just get a borked copy or am I being paranoid here?

I also made a new thread about this sigma problem yesterday but apparently it has not been checked by moderator yet. Would like to get some quick feedback to be able to sent this back ASAP if need be.

Hey Evan, thanks a lot! Just what I needed to see...

Sigma should be paying you because those last 2 posts are going to sell some lenses for them...
