They all produced acceptable results. Impressive! I'll go out on a limb and say lens 6 is the Pentax 135 f/2.5 due to the bokeh on the wide open shot. In the f/8 shots the differences are subtle at best. At least at these resolutions on my screen.

Is the Jupiter 11A basically the same as the Tair?

Maybe yes, maybe not

No, the Tair has 20 blades and is faster (f/2.8).

Having done this type of lens test before, the choice is usually not the subject, which all lenses will reproduce well in this type of image, it's how smooth are the out of focus areas.

Unfortunately #6 is not as sharp on the subject, so smoother bokeh is to be expected. Smooth bokeh doesn't count if the subject isn't as sharp.

Lens 7 , looking at the pink bit in front of the propeller appears to have the best combination of resolution, contrast and rendering of out of focus areas.

The OP does.

I've learned a couple things doing this kind of comparison....

Ask "Which is your favourite image?" not which lens is which and do a poll, so you can see what everyone's favourite is. IN a poll like this I would suspect no lens will get even 30% of the vote.

I'm voting for #7.... , even though no one asked...

Great idea!
Next time I will do it that way.

Overall, I see very little between them for these two sets. The notable outlier is lens #4, which has a downright nasty looking bokeh in the f/8 set. I'm thinking this might be the Fujita.

Maybe I'll embarrass myself, but I'm liking No. 4.
Impossible for me to identify each lens.
I will say that just as with long-exposure images of running water, muculent bokeh has never appealed to me.

Same for me, although the red in the ladybug on #7 is noticeably different from most of the other images, so without being there, who knows which photo has the best colour fidelity. Compared to #6, I would say that maximum apertures are significantly different, but if not, then lens #6 might be slightly out of focus. At f8, all 8 exhibit purple fringing and in the end, I still like #7 the most. I've never used any of these lenses, so I am clueless as which one #7 is.
