Vivitar 90mm f2.5 Macro " Bokina " not focusing with adapter

Hi,

I just got a Bokina and it focuses on the camera when it's just the lens, but not when I put the adapter on.

I'm guessing it's user error. Is there a trick to getting it to focus with the macro adapter?

The adapter renders the lens a non-infinity focusing macro for the purposes of 1:1. If you are trying to focus on something at a distance with the adapter then I suspect it will be blury. You will need to remove the adapter for subjects in that range.

Hi Wild Mark, you are right!

With the adapter on, at infinity objects that are about 8 inches (20 cm) are in focus, and with it at 1:1 objects that are about 5 inches (13 cm) are in focus.
