Stratman... I love this first image. The model is beautiful, the muted colors spot on and the composition with the car in the shadows... Love it, Love it...

And of course, the little girl is a doll, another great family shot from the 50's

Thanks Gus !! I got really lucky with that night shot, took about 5 photos of that girl, and that is the only one I managed to nail focus on, haha. That was just a flood light we put out so we could keep playing washers after dark on the 4th of July.

This is a winner for me. I do find the young lady's braces on her lower teeth a little distracting, but I love the shot overall. Very well done. I would love to be able to do this type of shot myself.

Caught this one on my M50 f/1.7 @ f/2.8 I think, ISO1600 on the K100D. No PP apart from white balance and a run through Noise Ninja.

I'd be interested in people's thoughts on this one. Some like it, others definitely don't!

Well maybe you have to have been the parent of a teenaged girl to like the photo. It (you?) captures the innocence and optimism of youth combined with the signals of impending transition to adult challenges and pains.

The braces don't bother me at all - in fact they are integral to my impression of the capture - transition / transformation. Sometimes the technical aspect of the art has to take a back seat to the reality of the image.

Yes, a very pretty girl with light in her eyes and playfulness in her smile - well done.
