Yes, but "a basement of a public parking building"?: there must be an interesting back story to that! So it raises the question: why there?

there's some great images in this thread!

I took this on a recent hike with my M50 1.7, my first Pentax lens (got it with my MX back in the day).

OK, so . . . new toy, surprise find = 1st attempt.

I likely won't keep this lens forever - this makes 4 50's - K50/1.4, M50/1.7, FA50/1.4, plus a SMC Tak and M50/2 on the sale table.

K10D + K50/1.2 @f/1.2

Fantastic photos all! Keep them coming!

I think we have proof: ANY Pentax 50/55 is able and willing!

Hi Mono,

I thought I may as well show my new toy too and since I did a test similar to yours I thought I would post the result.

M50 Macro f4. I cannot remember the aperture (and, of course, it is not in the EXIF, but another photo I took on the same day I know was f4 and 1/30 so this must be about the same aperture)

ISO 200 1/15 hand held (isn't SR good <g>):

This is cotoneaster taken at close focus. What I like about this lens is how it handles red (which is what I was testing here). The only post processing with this was resize (25%) and conversion to jpeg.

50mm f2 model A, at f2.8. Not bad for a $10 lens.

K100DS, FA 50mm 1.4 @ f/16, 1/20s, ISO 800. Not great technique, but the result is exactly what I was going for.
