A couple with the M 50/1.7, on a KX, with some post process manipulation. On the first, I messed with the tonal range and color, and on the second I did a b&w conversion and blew out the bright white bench.

''BRAVO''....I missed this somehow...''bravo''

Dan: Before I looked at your location I thought, that has to be in the Quetico Provincial Park."

For those of you who aren't acquainted, the park is a totally nspoiled area of millions (literally) of acres in Ontario.

I'm guessing your relaxation spot is geologically related, since there are VERY few habitations in the Quetico
Not Quetico. but I do visit Atikokan a couple of times a year. The photo was taken at my brother-in-law's cottage in beautiful Muskoka, a couple of hours north of Toronto. He loans us the place for a week every summer, and it's a fabulous holiday every time.

cyclocross

Here are some pictures I took Saturday at Starcrossed, a cyclocross race in Redmond, Washington. They are from a k10d with a FA50. Excuse the noise in the last two.

Damn excellent shots, everybody. There are several that make it to the 3-d WOW just on the amount of definition... and the photos of humans I feel really catch the humanity, in a very natural way. No wonder the 'normal' lens is such a 'standard' - though it may feel corny and old fashioned to modern ultra wide / ultra tele zoomistas, the space and communication through a photo not calling attention to how it's made sure is good!

Continuing the flower theme, at Grover Cleveland's birth place, SMC Tak 55/1.8, K100D

And a walk on the wild side, KX with M 50/1.7

Taken a couple of days ago 50mm F2 lens. Taken at F4 ISO800 (it was getting dark out) Jumpy dog, so hard to get good picture having everything set to manual, but I think it turned out all right. No PP other than re-sizing for the forum.
