Thoughts on the 60-250mm for the K-1?

You are right. That is why I wrote in bold, red underlined text that there are risks. I also pointed out which steps were more critical.

Just because there can be risks of damage should not mean that no one should attempt it...

Yes that is looking a very good combo. I have the 28-105 and it is impressive. I tend not to shoot much wider than 30ish. Do you find you are ever short at the long end though? (I guess a TC and switch to crop mod could take care of that though!)
