I couldn't believe when you posted about this lens, as Ron & I had already made the deal! More coincidence!!!

I think that was another poster wasn't it? I admire this lens but thought it was out of the price range.

Even more amazing when you consider the population here...we both live rural, 20 miles from the nearest town and town only has a population of 29,000. We are basically halfway between Yellowstone and Glacier where the tourists don't come!

boriscleto was the person who recommended this lens...

Wow, that's something how this worked out. Goes to show some things are just meant to happen. Enjoy the lens, Carol, and glad Ron Boggs could pass on his lens to a fellow pf member.

Thank you! I'm still pinching myself to realize this all happened so quickly, how it happened!

I'll so enjoy using this lens; can't wait to see what it can do, when the light is good!

May I say, Ron is a first class gent, and I felt like I'd known him for years, after only a few moments!

This truly is a dream come true today, for me!

Yes, it's nice that two Pentaxians got to meet, and that beautiful lens stays in beautiful Montana!

There's a lot of crap happening in the news at the moment so it's great to read about this ... well done, you two!

Have to admit, I've never had a bad experience in relation to this forum, though I have to confess to once or twice posting while in a less cheery mood...

Now all I need is one of you to buy my FA*600/4 in the marketplace. Or the FA*300/4.5 that will be posted tomorrow. Carol wouldn't look at the 300/4.5 so as not to be tempted! She wouldn't look at the three amigos for the same reason (not that mine are for sale), so the kit stayed in the truck. We live so close that when the UPS truck pulled up to us, the driver knew us both by name...

Can't wait to see tomorrow's killer bird pics from Carol! 41 degrees forecast...shh, don't tell anybody. Montana has it's version of "banana belt."

Yeah, now that's embarrassing that the UPS driver knows both of us by name! We got a good laugh out of that!
It's like Christmas, I can't hardly wait for tomorrow to get out & start using this new beauty!
