Is there a manual/user guide for the FA* 300 IF ED F2.8?

Hello All,
Is there a manual/guide for the FA* 300 IF ED F2.8 lens?
I have been looking on-line but not seen anything.
If you have one, and are prepared to scan it (if it isn't too many pages), could you please let me know?

Cheers,
Terry

That looks like a generic manual.
Hopefully there is one specifically for the FA* 300 F2.8 that explains all it's foibles.

Terry

I don't think there was, but do you have any questions about the lens?

I was really wanting get an idea of how the focus limit settings worked, but I see that it is covered in the manual that luftfluss provided the link for.
I was a little premature in my comment and further detailed reading does reveal specific details about the lens.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Terry

I didn't look through that manual much, either, and was disappointed that it is somewhat generic, but I'm glad it has some useful info for you.

One interesting point probably not covered by the manual, but good to know, is that the limiter on older lenses is purely mechanical. It limits the travel of the focusing mechanism to a certain interval. Depending on which since of the limit you are on, the focus ranges available to you will differ.

Modern lenses do this electronically, so there is no extra noise or mechanical wear and tear, and you can also switch over from one side of the limiter to the other simply by turning the focusing ring (thanks to quick shift). On the FA* 300mm, you have to disable the limiter, clutch back in to MF, turn the focus ring, re-enable the limiter, and push the clutch to AF.

There are pages dedicated to FA* lenses, which explains most functions.
Maybe you find more informations about the FA* 300mm 2,8 here:

As you can see, there is a manual for the FA* :

I think it's just about the FA80-200, 300 2.8, 600 f/4 and 250-600.

I recently bought a FA 300 2.8 but without this rare manual
