Valentines Day and along came my princess

After waiting patiently (3years or more) on that well known website I at long last managed to snag a the Pentax BG-10 battery grip (£80 inc next day delivery) for the Pentax MZ-S, which is the best film camera I've ever used. The seller was UK based and the condition was excellent as his MZ-S had packed up on him. Both the camera and BG are as rare as hens teeth in the UK and I wasn't prepared to buy from outside the UK due to the import duty and other taxes.

It was Brough to my attention via search alert email.

It pays to be patient I guess.

It often does indeed. Just wait&watch around carefully. Sometimes it just doesn't happen, sometimes it is indeed worth waiting.

Hey, that's great. I just got one today too! I wasn't searching as long as you, just 11 months, but found one from Roberts Camera on the bay for US$113 including priority mail shipping and a 6 month warranty. I think this was the first time I saw one listed in the US. It included the box and a white plastic part that I guess covers the terminals when not in use. However, no instructions were packed with it. Did your's come with instructions? If not, do you know where instructions might be obtained? I did a quick web search but couldn't find any. I was able to test mine and I think I know how to use the various features OK, and it works great, but I usually do like to have some instructions on hand. For example, I moved the battery type dial from "Li" to "LR6" thinking that Li meant lithium and I'm using regular alkaline cells instead.

Yes, I agree. Do you have the remote control that works with the grip, or know what is the model number for the remote?

Neewer do a cheap remote which works with it also if you have almost any other Pentax remote as that will work with it. I have a Pentax espio remote which works with it.
