Incoming! FA31 on its way

I've been tooling around with, and really enjoying several DA Ltds for a few years. This Fall/Winter I became more interested in taking portraits and the FA77 seemed to be the natural fit for that task. Of course, I've got 3 50mm options, but why not go straight for the legendary glass to do it right? I was stunned by the quality. It has helped me to learn about portraiture and really make some images that I am proud of. So, naturally, I start looking at more FA glass. It's not that I don't have the appropriate focal lengths already, but I wanted the faster and much lauded lenses. So, I dove in and bought the 31mm from B&H today. Can't wait to get this one in and start having some fun with it. Fingers crossed for a good copy.

You’ve been bit by the Limited bug. Enjoy the 31, an amazing lens. And you may as well order the 43...

Ha! Yeah. Don't tell my SO, though. ;-)

My problem with the 43, so far, is that I already have the 35 and 40 DA ltds, and they're great. The extra stop of speed would be nice, but I'm not chomping at the bit to order it...yet.

I bought the 43 after the 77 and waited on the 31, trying all kinds of 28-35 lenses first. Should have just bought the 31...

Resistance is futile. Just buy them all. I have the 31 and 43 and came to the realization that the 77 is not an "if" but a "when".

I'm holding at one - SMC Pentax-DA 21mm F3.2 Limited

but on the other hand I just added the SMC Pentax-DA* 300mm F4 ED [IF] SDM to my HD Pentax-D FA* 70-200mm F2.8 ED DC AW

I've got FA31 & 77 now, in addition to my 35 macro, 40, and 100 macro (come on, why isn't that one a ltd?!). Of course, there are others, but these are the limiteds. Trying to get some more FF capable lenses in case I bite on the K1ii.
