I absolutely love the 15-30, I had it, and it was a big no, for my back.
You can also consider pre-owned FA 20-35 f4.0. This is lightweight and made for FF

I have the D-FA24-70, a Rokinon/Samyang 24 f/1.4, and a Sigma Ultrawide II AF 24 f/2.8.

I enjoy them all and would recommend them all. The Rokinon/Samyang has the best IQ and you can do so dang much with that lens. The D-FA has the best versatility as a walkaround standalone lens. And Sigma is ultracompact (it's a touch stockier than an FA50 or FA28) and far lighter than the others.

A very good option, if you can find one. 20-35mm on full frame is a very nice range.

The FA*24 really is very nice. Wide open it is sharp enough, with a pleasing glow around the edges - very flattering for environmental portraits. Stopped down from f/5.6 it is a very well behaved landscaper. The hood works well. AF is accurate. 67mm is a fairly common filter size.

I prefer the DFA15-30 for the convenience of the zoom and the weather resistance, but the old prime holds up very well optically.

Another vote for the Samyang 24/1.4. Beautiful lens, but of course manual focus...

I also have both. The Sigma 24mm f/1.8 EX DG since so long ago I bought it for use on my film bodies well before my first DSLR. I like it. It is under-rated, especially since most other 24mm fast primes don't have sharp edge performance wide open either- and it does pretty well even there starting about f/2.2-4 on my copy.

An important advantage for the Pentax DA 12-24mm f/4 is its very good performance even wide open, very good edge performance, and you can optionally use it for both APS-C and FF within the limitations clackers indicates. Good usability if one has bodies of both formats. And with the K-1 you can switch between the two if you should need more zoom range for your framing.
