Even with DA TC1.4x you can get very nice results ...

210 • f/8

420 • f/9.5

420 • f/9.5

KP, DA TC1.4 & DA55-300PLM.

K-1 and DA 55-300 PLM

A female Ruffed Grouse has been around all winter... today this guy came around, strutting his stuff and scrounging up a meal.

No kidding, this is the first image I've seen of Sedona that actually made me think I might like going there.

Two days ago we had nearly 20°C and today around 0°C ... some images of the morning walk - all images at 420mm using KP, DA TC1.4x and DA55-300PLM ... with exception of the last one - this is taken at 77mm.

Australian King Parrots are occasional visitors here. This bold young fellow turned up for a couple of months in late 2019 and January 2020, but we haven't seen him for some time now. He has the juvenile green head, which will morph into the brilliant red of the adult male (same as his belly and legs). You can see a few red feathers coming through around his head. KP + DA 55-300 f4.5-6.3 PLM (at 210mm, 170mm and 230mm respectively)

From today's dog walk....
K-3 and DA 55-300 PLM

We had heavy rains during the day. We got out in a small window of misty to very light rain.

From a recent trip to the quiet beach at Walkerville, South Gippsland, Victoria with the KP + DA 55-300 PLM at 300mm

View to Waratah Bay and the Hoddle Range. A series of shots stitched with MS ICE. Works well for this.

Pacific Gull doing the hokey-pokey.
