Justice for Breonna Taylor and something about cancer

I accompanied social media broadcaster Tara Bassett to the Justice for Breonna Taylor protest site the morning after an angry homeless man fired into the crowd killing one volunteer and wounding another. Many protesters the next morning were visibly armed. This young man also had serious thoughts about cancer.

Iíve been shooting a number of protest related events for Tara Bassett, a prolific social media LIVEcaster. After capturing traditional talking head shoots I look for these opportunities to photograph what someone is watching through their own devices.

Here is a wasp on an Onion scape. KP @ 230mm.

Also proven with this shot showing a mite infestation and eggs on the same dragonfly. f/11 @ 300mm

@normhead - GREAT shots, but, having looked at the flickr versions, it appears that "Warning, not a squirrel" was shot with your "smc PENTAX-DA* 60-250mm F4 [IF] SDM"

PS: the rest of the shots don't show, on flickr, the lens used??

I'm still using Apple Aperture which isn't being updated as my raw processor. It reports both the DA 55-300 and the DFA 28-105 as unknown lens because they were never added before Apple stopped updating the lens import library.
I've been trying to get some use out of the 60-250, which has become a sort of red haired orphan with the DA 55-300 having better macro capabilities and seemingly being just as sharp. SO despite my resolve to use it, it didn't last very long. I'm sure I'll find another use for it somewhere someday. I still find it the lens to use for small birds where it's rather long minimum focussing distance doesn't often come into play.

It is the Mobil Winged horse here in the US. The Garage used to sell Hudson Automobiles way back in the day. Now I guess it is Exxon Mobil. Amoco here was from when they broke up Standard Oil and they have a Red White and Blue Oval sign with a torch in the center. Mostly in the Midwestern US. The Old Station is now a workshop and a place that sells antique tools called Liberty Tool. (125 Meters up the road from me.)
