Vivitar 90mm f2.5

How good is the 90mm f2.5?

And how is it priced?

Its 1:1 macro and got the A function....

Minimum focus dis. is 0.55m

Filter Thread is 62mm

Sila, what are the first two numbers of the serial number? Is it a Series 1?

I believe the lens in the picture is a 90mm f2.8. I had one once but sold it. I liked it, but it was very similar to the tamron I have (eeehm I have 2 by now

). There is a previous post about this (the 2.8) lens here:

If its anything like the Vivitar Series 1 90/2.5 then its a outstanding lens. However, I'm not sure that it is quite of the same build. I agree it chse that it may be the 2.8, but looking in the picture it looks like it says 2.5

??

This lens goes to 1:1, while the original 90mm f/2.5 "Bokina" was only 1:2.
