One prime, one zoom:

Maybe a 28-300mm superzoom, and a standard lens,

or a wide lens and the superzoom.

I'd go for a wide zoom and a long prime - most of my shots are either wide (where small changes in focal length make big differences) or long (I don't go for the 'middle' very often):
- 35mm film (and FF if I had a K-1): FA20-35/4 & K135/2.5
- APS-C: DA17-70 (my only 'wide-enough' lens for APS-C) & K135/2.5
- P6x7: 55-100/4.5 & SMC 67 200/4 (late version)

Can't really give an answer that is any value to you without knowing what you like tob shoot.
For ME I think I'd pick a superzoom (wide to as long as possible within budget) and a fast normal or portrait prime.

This isn't about advice per say but about seeing people's personal perspectives.
