The sigma 30mm is a crop lens.
And i need a wider aperture lens.
I missed that you're on Full-Frame.
The Sigma 28mm f1.8 is full-frame. It can be brutally sharp, I use it for photographing small things like miniatures and models at contests etc. I've also used it indoors where it's surprisingly useful at f1.8. It's not a small lens, having a 77mm front element, but that's kind of expected with close-focus and wide aperture.

I'm very thrilled with my Sigma 300 F4, but would like to dream of having a lens with longer reach, that I could still hold while photographing!

A DA15 is on my wishlist in the future.

Camera: APS-C
Type: prime
Focus: I'd love AF but I'll take MF
Focal length(or range)/Maximum Aperture: 40mm/f0.95
Price (you are ready to pay for such a lens): I figure if Voigtlander made one they might sell it for $500? I'd probably have to sell a bunch of stuff to pay that much but if there's one lens that would make me part with a lot of things (including my Sigma 30 1.4 Art) this would be it.
Other Features: (WR, AW, Focus Lock, aperture ring... whatever are Your needs): Aperture ring
Use: General use

I figure that 40mm is the smallest size that would make a f/0.95 lens still manageable in size with the K mount flange focal distance.
Why? Because a fast lens would rock!

I am contemplating coming out of primes to a three zoom kit over the next couple of years
DA* 11-18 f2.8, Sigma 17-50 f2.8 and the D-FA 70-200 f4.

Not being wide angle by nature (I had the DA15) I'm attracted to the 11-18 for astro, the Sigma for museums / indoors and the 70-200 for landscape detail. Looking forward to the specs and prices of the new kit.

I'd like a K-70 too, and a lottery win with that lot

Definitely the DA* 11-18 and in the future I would love the D FA 150-450, but that is a good deal of cash I do not currently posses!

I have the DA*300 and the 55-300PLM, but for some irrational reason, I’ve fallen in love with the DA*60-250mm.
Now I’m constantly trying to suppress my L.A.S.

It might be the da * 11-18. I don't really want a zoom but perhaps I'll get it anyway.

Just got 4 new additions.

Sigma 105macro
Vivitar 70-210 2.8-4 (Komine)
Pentax M 200 f4
Pentax DA 50 f1.8

After getting these I'm looking at either replacing my da* 50-135 or getting one of the limited primes.

There is a reason for this desire, it is the little * emblem. It means WOW! for IQ and overall beauty in use. Just because I own a PLM doesn't mean I will get rid of my DA*50-135, that would be crazy because the 50-135 is just amazing in that range. If it could cook, I might trade the wife in on another one!

You’re absolutely right, I would keep the PLM or it could find a place in my daughters camera bag (she has a K-S2).
I’m the one doing all the cooking, and I mentioned the 60-250 to her this morning - it’s up-hill

I don't usually want to carry this lens. But at least half the time i do. It's simply the lens with the ability to give you the best results in the most possible situations.

It's quite simply the sharpest most versatile lens you're ever likely to own. No one, and I mean no one who goes on about primes are better than zooms, has shot with this lens. It's practically a given.

With summer promotions going on right now I couldn't resist getting the D FA 100 WR.. Now I'll have to practice macro technique with it. Perhaps I can finally make use of my external flash now, too...
Bokeh looks super creamy, but the sharp area is super small at closest focus distance. Will I have to carry a tripod with me when I want to take high quality pics with it? Will I have to get comfortable with focus stacking software? I'll first try to see how far I can get handheld..
