All you need is just slightly bigger barrel and that is almost all you need. Maybe some tweaks of optical formula, but these lenses are greate and I thing that this could be solid base for MILC kamera. And WR would be nice too. Try to find the same line in Sony ecosystem ...
Limiteds are great addition to high performance lenses and the budget one. Now i understand a KP much more.
Ok back to topic. Do you think, this could happend? Some of forum members write about it somewhere, but I am not sure where.
My argument pro is, that here could be just one barrel for all of these lenses, so this could be relatively cost effective.
And about the cons, I am not sure. I see no one. Maybe, that this lenses wouldn't be so fast, but who cares. F2.8 and anything faster is good enough with good optical formula. And who want faster ones, he can buy the * ones or budget line.
So is this possible or not?
