100mm ND, and ND Grads on the FA Limited lenses?

Hello Folks,
I getting a filter holder with ND and ND Grads for my Irix 15mm. There are lens adapters compable with all of my other lenses. Will a ND Grads work on such small lenses, or do they require a lens with a large front element?
Thank you,
Terry

I use my Lee 100 filter system on all my lenses. I use step down rings as needed to make the Lee ring (in my case 82mm) fit the specific lens (such as my Pentax M20mm F/4 which has 49mm filter threads.

For adapter rings, WPRESTO turned me on to this site. They pretty much have everything. The quality of the rings are very good, and the prices are excellent.

Thank you David,
I guess my question is If the ND Grads will work on the smaller lenses, or does it take a large front element? I know that the ND filters will work on all of them. Wow, thank you for the link.

Hey Terry,

Yes, I think you're correct in your thinking, that the 100mm ND grad would be more effective on a lens with a larger front element. I occasionally use my ND grads on a smaller lens, it works but I'm probably not getting the full effect of the ND grad filter.

It depends more on FOV than on filter ring size. 100mm filters are ok on most WA/UWA lenses. Even hand held.
