On a separate note I like the way you split lens collections into usable group and collection group ! Nice !

Yes….I almost forgot ! While you were MIA for an extra (((5 weeks))) !!! .....and I didn't know if you were Dead or Alive or ever coming back home...…...I took the liberty of training Ms. Pygmy to go potty outdoors !

That's why she keeps looking at the door......she doesn't miss me...…..she has to Go !

No more bed liners on the closet floor and no more poo-ing in a box designed for a Cat in the kitchen !
She now likes Grass and real Dirt under her little feet when she has to do her Business......OUTSIDE !
Oh....And on a side note …... She now loves to scratch and fling the dirt about when she is all done with her business OUTSIDE like a proper little Dog !

Unfortunately.....and unforeseen by me...….that scratching behavior now includes the Kitty-Litter-Box in your kitchen !
I suppose that is why your possibly finding kitty litter scattered around under your table this morning ?
The new little broom and dustpan by the backdoor is there for a reason...….You can thank me later...…..

I do. Although there are cases when primes can't work, they are good for anything else. I don't mind walking back and forth.

Don't be so harsh on yourself. You are the Master of Manual Shooting!

However its general use , travel , and friends that I really stink.

I think it's probably a case of pre visualising the shooting scenario and bolting on the right lens in the first place.

To throw fuel on the fire ..... ....... the only analogy missing appears to be 'lady of the night' ......... (A50mm 1.2)

This type of situation calls for either a zoom, or quick feet to zoom with. Or you can crop...

When I intend to take candid portraits, I always mount a zoom. when taking pictures for myself, I usually use primes. When I control the environment, be it portraits or something else, I alternate between zooms and primes.

If you enjoy it, then do it. If you did it only because you felt more validated, then yes you were limiting yourself.

I DONT Need either (never did)
Need, want, enjoy, these are all diffferent concepts.

I've owned the K50 F1.2 for a while, realized I did not use it, and resold it. However there are lenses that I own, don't use often, but definitely keep.

Glad you confirmed that Im not the only one that sold this lens. Selling my "A" and "K" versions of the 1.2 freed up over $1000 for other things , and I still have my Ricoh Rikenon P 50mm 1.4 that I dearly love and actually use.
