Great colours, red is a hard colour and that lens gets it.
The bokeh in the statue shot is seriously disturbing, I love it.

For heavens sake! All of the photos posted in this thread are amazing. I was out at a group shoot last night and the other Pentaxian there had the DA*50-135 and was singing it's praises. He also had a FA*300 2.8!! I had no idea that was such a monster of a lens! It dwarfed my BIGMA! Yeesh, this guy has some nice glass. But I digress...
All of you have demonstrated why this is a pricey piece of glass. It sure looks worth it to me after viewing these images. Incredible detail and sharpness! I'm not so sure I'd want all that detail and sharpness in a portrait though. ;-)

some from my DA* 50-135

Just a grab bag of shots. The beautiful young lady was a spectator at the KC Soap Box Derby, the deer were just in a front yard. I see that LR has stripped the EXIF data yet again.
All but the deer ISO 800, f/11. Shutter speeds 1/1500, 1/350, 1/500. The deer ISO 200 1/2000 @ f/2.8
