Over 20 years, I have shot fully 33% of my pictures with superzoom. And I only started shooting with Pentax 10 years ago. So, 2/3rd of my DSLR shots have been with superzooms, namely the :
Pentax DA 18-250 (APS-C)
Tamron 28-250 (APS-C)
There are a few other superzooms :
Sigma 18-250 (APS-C)
Sigma 18-300(APS-C)
Various older Sigma and Tamron 28-300 full frame
If you know of other superzooms, I will gladly add them to the list. By superzoom I mean a single lens that cover the wide angle range and telephoto range, with at least 10x focal length range. Pretty much anything >35mm on the wide end would be out, and anything under 200mm on the tele end would be out as well.
I'm particularly interested in shots of older superzoom FF lenses with K-1, if anyone has tried them.
I will start with this picture of my dad, shot with the DA 18-250 and K200D in JPEG . Everyone who knew him has complimented me on this picture.
