Does the focus rig supposed to turn continuously in either direction? Or come to a stop, to then turn in the opposite direction?

I've just checked mine and it doesn't come to a stop.

It reaches the end of actual focus adjustment, but the ring continues to turn .... there is a very slight bump as the end of focus point is reached.
