Hoya Close Up Lens - 49mm

Hi has anyone had any experience with this lens - would appear 49mm to screw on the end of Takuma style 49mm thread lenses.

I have a set of Hoya close-up, bought it while back for fun, +1, +2 and +4... In a good light, loss of quality - I personally don't see, but then again, I don't do any labs testing either

Here are few samples:

DFA 100mm macro f2.8 with +2 (when 1:1 isn't close enough)

FA 50mm f1.4 with +2 (all at f 1.4)

FA 100mm f3.5 with +2

I find these to be a quick solution for "when I neeeeeed to get closer in a hurry", but I prefer tubes otherwise.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
D
