55-300 WR PLM starburst??

i have seen normal HD 50-300 getting starburst just only 6 blades at f8 and above (based on review i read)
but i have not seen any review posting sample about PLM version getting starburst effect?

anyone own the len, can you tell me?

I think it will not give good starbursts since it has rounded aperture blades. I have not tried it with my PLM, however. I only use this lens in good daylight.

I haven't had time to test this particular aspect as much as I'd like, but I did do some night skyline at the beginning of the month and I didn't notice any starbursts to speak of. i just went out and did a quick try. Tripod, timer, iso 100 etc. I couldn't get the live view magnification to work for some reason so the focus isn't the greatest. You can force it to starburst if you really stop down, but nothing useful.
