Does the DFA* 50 f/1.4 stabilise K1 shutter shake?

I see noticeable effects of shutter shake on the K1 between about 1/100 sec and 1/200 sec, especially with the rather light DFA 28-105. Less so with heavier lenses.

I am wondering whether the new DFA* 50mm f/1.4 improves the situation. Is there anyone who has this lens and normally suffers shutter shake who can test it?

Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere; I haven't seen it.

Very good question. I'd also be interested by the answer.

Great question! I have the FA50 f1.4 and I know that experiences some affects from shutter shock but I'm guessing the considerable mass of the DFA*50 will have an influence. Look forward to answer to this one.

My impression is that, whilst shear lens mass has an effect, it is not the whole story. The DFA 28-105 seems particularly prone. Perhaps there is a resonance in the system with that lens, because of its structure. There is no way of knowing how the DFA* 50 will fare without trying it (or doing some prohibitively complicated calculations). I would rather know before buying, but its stellar performance may be too attractive to resist forever.
