I very nearly had a relapse. There is this antique store on the way to the office. I usually pass by before they open of after they close, but today I finally got there at the right time. They had a whole bunch of lenses that they let me have a look at.

There was this third party (forgot the brand but it was not one of the big ones) 135mm f/2.8 in K-mount. Quite cheap too. I was already buying it in my mind when I checked the aperture. The lever flicked back and forth but it did not stop down, no matter what you do with the aperture ring. Nope.

A Pentax FA 35-80 looked promising, but the front lens surround (or maybe the entire front lens element) was missing. Nope.

On to the next thing - that nifty fifty. I missed out on another one the other day. It was a Pentax A 50mm f/1.4 at a rock bottom price, but the ad disclosed a great big white spot inside, so I let it pass me by. The one that got away...

I can see the top of the table still

I cannot match what you have

I only have 4 cameras [ 1 bridge, 1 P & S, 2 Pentax DSLR ], and 11 lenses and the 1.4 rear converter

but I am willing to bet that some folks might be able cover that table with cameras and lenses
I consider my lens collection to be quite modest, and in fact, I have sold a few lenses since that was taken.
I still have a bunch of film cameras, 3 LX bodies, a black MX, a chrome ME and ME Super, I might have a black one as well, a Program Plus, I'm pretty sure I still have a KM and K1000 kicking around.
I got the LX bodies serviced back in 2006 or so and I don't think I shot more than half a dozen rolls of film through either of them since then. I haven't shot film at all since 2006.

My LBA seems to have gone into remission after I captured an elusive isco Göttingen iscolor. OK, I would like a plm and a czj flektogon but I am no longer craving. Good thing too, my cupboard is full. I will take a picture tomorrow, when my wife is out

To recap:

The community must reach 45,000 posts each month

At that point, 3 threads will be created 8 hours apart, and the first 80 posters in each will get a raffle entry

Automatic raffle entry if you have 180+ posts

Raffle participants must have at least 10 forum posts in the month of the raffle

The winner is drawn at random, and we will ship a K-1 to the winner
If the community reaches 51,000 posts by the end of the month, the prize gets upgraded to a K-1 II

I am also trying to reach 180 posts, so that I don't have to get up at 6am again, whilst maintaining what I laughingly refer to as my forum integrity

It seems like an international border crossing would be a deterrent...

The lens was so much cheaper than I can find it for in Europe it was worthwhile. (Tele-Takumar 200mm F5.6) I even have to pay taxes because of the Ebay Global Shipping program (it cost just $20 and under €22 there are no taxes on imports to the Netherlands which is very handy for hassle free imports of cheap stuff from China). Shipping is cheaper than usually from the US ($23 instead of usual around $45).

Thanks for sharing.

I now feel relieved to know that my LBA is in an early stage.

At the same time I am also feeling unworthy.
