[Spinx]

I was looking at getting the Pentax FA 35 f2 and while doing research came across this Sigma Lens. I believe it comes in a Pentax mount. Has anyone any experience with this lens and how does it compare with the FA 35 f2.

The closest I have is a Sigma 24mm 1.8 EX. Big and heavy, but very sharp when stopped down and great bokeh when wide open!

I chose the Pentax over the Sigma. It is smaller, less expensive, and compatible with my film cameras as well as my digital.

Same here, they are both good lenses, but the Pentax is a fair bit smaller and lighter and my choice....

I also prefer the colour/contrast of Pentax lenses and also the much higher resale value...
