Has anyone used both the DA 16-85 and DFA 28-105?

Thank you very much for the input! It’s all reassuring and I just ordered it from B&H, their price this week was good enough for me to pull the trigger. Based on one of the posts in the “show us” thread I added a 3 year warranty, though I don’t expect to use it. I don’t baby my equipment so it’s reassuring to have it in case I have a failure like the one shown.

It’s supposed to arrive Tuesday, so I’ll let you know how it goes.
