Welcome to the Pentax Forums!

I am not seeing the photos either. How were you adding them to your post?

Not sure what happened here Found the problem. The source HTML looks fine had the page URL rather than that for the image. Here are the photos:

Were these shot with a hood? The second one seemz to have some lost contrast / flare. Bokeh on shot 1 is quite pleasing.

Thanks for the pics, Khoa.

I own one myself and I've found it to not be a sharp or contrasty lens - perhaps the more expensive K85mm f1.8 is better.

But you've taken beautiful pictures of a beautiful day!

Many thanks, but i think 85mm pentax lens is very rare. In my country is only 5 SMC Pentax-FA* 85mm F1.4 [IF] lens

In Flickr choose share. When pop up window opens choose BBCode view and copy that code to message window in PF.

Could be and FA*85 certainly is, but M85 is good value for the money and I don't see any problem with the sharpness in screen size. I can't say about larger prints thought, as I've never done those.

K5 and M85 wide open:

Yeah, Takinami found it to be just about the second weakest prime in the whole Pentax lineup. His tests covered most of the K, M, A, F and FA series.

It's relatively cheap, and it's small, but I probably regret buying it now. I have pics in the Lens Club.

That's just bullshit. In M series alone there are a lot of weaker lenses than M85.
