Identify a mount please?

Hi,

Digging a little deeper with adapted lenses. I think this may be an Olympus mount but wanted to ask before i buy an adapter. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris

Thank you Boriscleto. Do you know if it is hard to adapt to K mount or even possible? The flanges look similar to a K mount but the aperture tabs do not.

Most of the OM Zuiko lenses can take a Leitax replacement mount. But that won't work for most third party lenses. Adaptist had the Multi-mount replacement mount for K-mount cameras, but they aren't going to make any more and they sold out their last stock in March.

Riorico used to modify them by filing down the bayonet flags.

Yes, as mentioned before Minolta SR mount. Looks like a mirror lens with fixed aperture thus no aperture lever. It doesn't look like there is a way to use rear filters.

You might be able to change the rear flange if you match up the attachment screw holes.

Correct. It is a Tokina 500mm F8. I haven't received it yet, just trying to get ahead and have the mount ready. I do believe it comes with the rear filters, so I hope it functions correctly.

Okay, it looks like the rear cell comes off an you can put filters in there or they screw on to the back. Seems to be a tool to unscrew the filters or rear cell.

Here's one for sale on eBay. It says it is for Minolta but the photo shows it is for Pentax K-mount.
