Where to get Adaptall for PKA?

One of the local shops has three new-in-box Tamron 90mm F2.8 1:1 manual focus lenses on clearance for $199. The problem lies in securing an Adaptall for Pentax KA.

Could somebody direct me to a reliable and reasonable source? I see some listed on ebay at over $100, which balloons the $199 to $299.

BTW, the $199 is a good deal, no?

I've gotten real luck and found a couple adapters locally for $20 and $30. I sold them attached to the 90mm macros. But thats what they seem to run now is over $100. Ebay prices go up and down. A few months ago they were selling for around $75

Thanks OrenMC. I was told that they were typically fetching $25, used. Unfortunately, none of the local shops I've contacted have any. I will persevere....

The Adaptall 90mm f2.8 1:1 macro is a excellent lens and if you buy the 2X adaptall 2 teleconverter (which is very cheap) you can get some really close shots.
I have a couple of PKA mounts, one came with the 90mm macro ($150 for the pair but well used) and I bought another for my SP 70-210mm 19AH lens which I got fairly cheap off another forum.
Prices are quite a lot at the moment though and only seem to be getting higher.

I can echo the general perception that the PKA adapters are hard to find. I got mine from a local shop for $27 new. I have not seen one since outside of eBay and occasionally on the marketplace here.

While you are looking, you might want to try the regular PK mount. These are readily available, inexpensive, and not too cumbersome to use.

I went straight from posting above to Ebay as I am looking for a certain item and saw this had been posted just moments before.
Had to buy it really, would have been a shame not to

I traded a Canonet for my PKA mount, and I bought a K mount version as well so I can have 2 lenses ready when I need them.

Tell me it is not true! You got the lens and and mount for £15.00?

Such a deal...

Actually, I've noticed several adaptall lenses being sold with adapters on ebay, mostly going for nothing more than spare change.

Except for the fact that I have taken the LBA pledge, maybe I should be spending some time on eBay. The last time I looked, there were lots of standard PK mounts, but very few with PK/A such as the lens MikeP won for only £15.00. Things apparently have changed.

KEH has adapall (not adaptall 2) for K-mount @ $31 + shipping... and adaptal 2 for Ricoh (I guess that mount can be modified for K mount by just removing a pin) for $23 + shipping

Thanks for the advice, everybody. I'll try looking for used lenses that come with the PKA adaptor.
