Why the ND filters?
Because I wanted a long exposure and couldn't get it otherwise.

This is the kind of filter you'd be looking for, in a 77mm thread: HOYA | PROND64

Thank You Ash, not even this expensive (~60€ at amazon). Do you know if it's thin enough to use at the wide range of the lens?

I have a slimline Marumi CPL permanently on my 12-24, and it has no evidence of vignetting at 12mm. I wouldn't imagine there would be any even it if were not slimline since the front element is much smaller than the outer edge of the lens. Plus, the petal lens hood fits on this area with much more protrusion in front of the front element, with no signs of vignetting at 12mm (as you would expect). So you should have no problem with the threaded filters fitted on this lens.

I own it. It‘s a very solid high quality filter, aound 5mm thick, so not a slim filter.

Yep, I see them now.
Wow, that's a huge amount of flare and central rings forming in those images. Would have to be a misplaced filter allowing light leak between the layers. I'd go with the screw on filters, never a problem with them:

I love it.

I've used Cokin P graduates with my Sigma 10-20mm and never had flare that bad so it might be down to the quality of the filters.
