shooting at 2 secs and f8

A lot of folks seem to be scared by such long exposures (maybe a remnant of reciprocity failure when using film). I often use such long exposures when shooting product photos for Ebay, and with digital cameras, that is not a problem. As long as things are stable, it basically doesn't matter how long your exposure is.

This looks a whole lot better! Congrats.

50mm Macro fpr slide duplicating

Just tried a Pentax m42 mount 50mm macro f4 and was able to get 95% full frame, first shot I tried, is good not great, next set much improved, focus very good, even at f4, next few at f11 exceptional, I would recommend this lens for slide copying. This slide is about 30 years old.
