Non-IF WR lenses

How weather & dust resistant are the WR lenses that are not internal focus? I would think the zoom action would be pulling in a lot of air one way or another. Going on a trip where air quality may get a little dusty.

There are only 3 lenses with internal zooming, and I agree, these would be the most convenient for super harsh environments:
Weather Sealed Lenses | PentaxForums.com

Most non-star lenses are branded WR rather than AW, which means they are not sealed against dust. However, they all have internal focusing with the exception of the 100mm macro and the 18-50mm, 18-55mm, 55-300mm F4-5.8, and 50-200mm kit lens variants.

As for the weather-sealed lenses with internal focusing, they should be OK to use as long as you are careful. You don't want to be zooming quickly or suddenly when the barrel is wet, of course. Use caution and you should be fine
