The lens is great for sunsets Todays sunset. 1h and 20 minutes ago. The sun set at 15.35 now this far north. F:6.3 18mm  | |

There is some fall-off of sharpness at the extreme borders in this image shot today at 12mm and F:7.1. Pentax K-3.Some weak fringing to between the mountains and the sky but only visible at pixel peeping levels.... The problem with such wide lenses is that it makes mountains look small. The tallest mountain in the image is not 200m tall, as it looks on the photo, but 1000m (3000feet).  Actually it is the same mountain seen in the sunset image above; the tall one just right of centre....  Last edited by Pål Jensen; 11-13-2020 at 10:06 AM. | |
