Last night, I had (for the first time in awhile) a somewhat clear sky. It was still ice-crystal hazy overhead, but I managed to get a few of the gibbous moon (such as attached). After dehazing in LR, I was pretty pleased with the outcome. This was taken with a
Soligor 450mm, which I got a few months ago. Before I read the warning about dropping out the iris by accident...I dropped out the iris, by accident. So, it's essentially an open tube. Still, I got the lens for about $20 (with shipping), so I think it's well worth the price.
