In the interest of science, someone should really send you those.

I have an FA 28-105 PZ that I can lend to someone if they want to test. It would be interesting to know how it compares, but even if it or one of the others is as good or better, in most cases I'd just buy the DFA for WR, coatings, DC AF and the hood. Maybe a prime only user who never needs WR would be OK with the old lens just in case.
I was very fortunate to have a loaner k-1 for about a month. I enjoyed playing with it but I really did not love the form factor. I am not the expert to do this Eval.

Show me comparative images or this is all conjecture.
The FA28-105 might be fantastic on the K-1, but I know the DFA is.

Apart from the fantastic images, you should send that camera/bag picture to Pentax and Peak Design so they can use them in their advertizing

DFA 28-105 mm lens is "crazy-sharp" on Pentax K3. Definitely a keeper.

Richard, isn't that road on the way to Rivière-à-Pierre?

Hello BDERY ! The first picture shows Route 367 leading to Rivière-à-Pierre. The second picture is "5e Rang" of St-Léonard de Portneuf. In St-Léonard, you turn on "Rue Lesage", go to where the Railroad Station used to be and continue about one kilometer towards a cluster of bovine farms. There you meet the intersection with "5e Rang" pictured here. Rivière-à-Pierre is about 15 kilometers North of St-Léonard. Hope this helps ...

I thought I recognized the road on the first picture. Beautiful area! I'm often in St-Raymond and sometimes go camping in Reserve Portneuf.
