I spend plenty of money on her, and she is aware of it. LOL. We keep our finances separate so I don't know what she spend on purses and she has no idea what I spend on camera and astronomy gear.

I forgot to add a couple of lenses to the collection, I also have a Phoenix 100-400 and Sigma 50-500 "Bigma"

Sounds like me and my wife: we have our own "allowances" and she doesn't care what I spend on cameras and computer stuff, and I don't worry about how many katsinas she buys!

If you feel you have to give away some of them to make room for more acquisitions. I happily will be on the receiving end.

Try selling one - one you don’t want. It will keep you honest, you always have the, “I sold a lens last week/month/year” statement in your pocket, and cash going into your PayPal account feels really good

There's a 200mm Tak there. It's right next to the FA 100-300.

That's still not enough lenses!
Correct. Not enough lenses.

I tell you what, create an excel sheet with list of lenses, extra for primes and zooms. You will probably see all the gaps in your collection, all the focal lengths not properly covered. Believe me, excel tables are always helpful!

(And there are other GFs, too...)

One of those threads again...

I don’t get all these „if my wife/girlfriend knew“ posts. If your wife/girlfriend would get mad at you because you‘ve spent your money on things you like that are important to you then your problem is not spending that money but rather not having the right wife or girlfriend that supports your hobbies and/or passion.

Echo that. I buy lenses and other useful stuff, and my wife takes trips to Japan. Non-issue. It's only money, and I've only got another sixty or eighty years left, so I may as well enjoy it while I can. I feel sort of like Pope Leo X (the nephew of Lorenzo "The Magnificent" Di Medici), who, having had his ecclesiastical status acquired for him by family interests, said, "God has given Us the Papacy; let Us enjoy it!"

I only count 17 lenses. I am approaching 60, you clearly don’t have enough!

Lenses are like farm animals, once they have a name... you can't sell 'em or eat 'em, hence my "Ladies"

Only at f/5.6 because that's the sweet spot.

I thought it was f/8? Cuz you turn the 8 on its side & you get the "forever" infinity symbol, meaning its always good lol
