Well, mea culpa on that part, I have a friend who got a D7000 when I got my K-3 and I asked him directly, he said it didn't exist.

I looked it up a few years back when we started getting the Pentax AF adjust sucks next to Nikon complaints.

All my lenses require focus adjustment. The da 50mm/1.8 is the worst and I have it maxxed out at +10.

When you buy a lens, you need to immediately test it for decentering/AF adjustment.

Unless your camera needs a lot of + for everything, that's a lens that needed an exchange/refund/warranty repair.

All Nikon cameras with 2 control wheels have the af adjustment option in the menu. Once in a while (after 30.000-40.000) with DSLRs is indicated to do some fine tunning to the body, preferably at a service repair center. Some do this af calibration at home, but they do it at their own risk. In this video it shows how to calibrate the body (from min. 2:10).
