Thorium Dioxide

on today's (May 1, 2019) front page at Wikipedia (english), a photo of some lenses with varying levels of yellowing, and a link to Thorium Dioxide article
Thorium dioxide - Wikipedia
Interesting to me because the Takumars are instantly identifiable in the image, even before you enlarge it to read the fronts.

They surely could have found another 50mm tak, without the thorium to round out the shot,

Just to be on the safe side, replace those kitchen counter-tops, but don't let them go to waste. Move'm to the photo-gear room to set a collection of the above lenses on!
